Continuing Education Requirements

For each three-year license cycle, all active real estate brokers must complete 24 hours of continuing education. 12 of these credits come from the required Annual Commission Update (4 CE x 3 years = 12 CE). The other 12 are elective credits of your choice, and I offer many courses to choose from. Learn more about them all below.

  • Annual Commission Update - 4 CE

This 4 hour mandatory course is needed in order to maintain your license status, and it covers important brokerage compliance and general practice issues, as well as rule, contract and legislative changes.

  • Broker Basics I - 2 CE

Without a vision and plan any job is tough. Set goals, small and large, to ensure success while developing a business plan to have direction. Create a database to nurture and build as your business grows.   • Broker Basics II - 2 CE

Working with Buyers: Once you obtain your first home buyer know the steps and have a plan in place including what the Commission provisions. Look like a true professional.   • Broker Basics III - 2 CE

The Selling Process: Listings are key to a successful real estate business. They drive buyer leads and are a great way to market yourself. When you acquire that first seller ensure you will get a rave review by knowing your contracts and forms front to back along with the Commission requirements.   • Corresponding Forms to the Contract to Buy & Sell - 3 CE

Perhaps you're comfortable with the Contract to Buy & Sell. But do you feel confident in knowing which forms to use when during the course of your transactions? Complete this class to understand the most commonly used forms and ensure your files are compliant with DORA.

  • Colorado Mountain Contracts - 3 CE

Selling real estate in the various communities of Colorado is not always as straightforward as it may seem. This course dives into some of the things to consider when dealing with clients in mountain and ski areas.   • Comprehension of the Contract to Buy & Sell Land - 4 CE

Many brokers take a line by line Contract course on a regular basis, however it’s generally for the Contract to Buy & Sell Residential. This course reviews the CBS Land and corresponding forms. It is important to know the difference between the two Contracts and when to use the Land. Just because the property has an improvement does not always mean to use the Residential CBS.

Do your Seller's complete the SPD correctly and do they understand their obligations? Do you know how to educate Buyer's on the SPD? Take this short course to have a better knowledge base of the SPD and best practices that go along with it.

  • Ethics & Social Media - 3 CE

Real estate brokers taking this course will learn all about the Buyer & Seller Listing Contracts and the Seller’s Property Disclosure forms while also reviewing the Redline changes for 2023. A lot of Brokers take line by line courses on the Contract, but do you know the ins and outs of the Listing Contracts?

  • Your Frequently Asked Questions Answered - 3 CE
